Initial Consultation

Your initial consultation lays the foundation for your surgical procedure.  During your consultation with Dr. Lent, you can share your concerns and desires regarding your surgery. Please ask Dr. Lent any questions.

First, you will share your medical history and insurance information with Dr. Lent’s helpful assistant, Henny. Henny will carefully guide you through the various procedures of your interest, sharing before and after photographs of similar surgical procedures.

After your preliminary introduction, you will meet directly with Dr. Lent. At the start of the consultation, Dr. Lent will discuss with you your desires for surgery.  He will review your specific medical history and examine the areas  you would like to alter. He will then speak with you in further detail his recommendations. Dr. Lent will carefully go over all the risks involved, the benefits of the procedure(s), steps involved, and realistic expectations. Your consultation is the best time to ask all your questions and address your concerns. Dr. Lent will ensure that you are knowledgeable about your procedure(s) so that you can feel comfortable and confident with surgery.

Following your consultation with Dr. Lent, you will meet again with a staff member to go over the scheduling of appointments, insurance, fees, and any additional questions that you may have. You can call the office again to ask any questions. The consultation will take about an hour to an hour and a half, long enough to allow you to acquire a thorough understanding of the procedure(s) and address your concerns.

Pre-Procedure Preparation

Before you have cosmetic surgery, you will take several steps to prepare. Prior to your surgery, you will meet with Dr. Lent in order to review your procedure(s), take pre-surgery photographs, address questions, review all the steps before and after surgery, and receive any necessary prescriptions. Generally, Dr. Lent will meet with you about one to two weeks before your surgery in our Beverly Hills office.  After this meeting, we will help you arrange the necessary blood tests depending upon your medical history and health.

Surgery Day

On the day of your surgery, we recommend that you arrive one or two hours before the scheduled time.  You should have enough time fill out additional consent forms and other paperwork as well as to meet the anesthesiologist and nurses.

If you are accompanied by friends or family, we will provide them with estimated times for surgery completion. After surgery, you will remain for another hour and a half in the recovery room. All patients should make prior arrangements for pick up after surgery.

Post Surgery

Within a few days following your procedure, Dr. Lent will meet with you to inspect the site, provide instructions, and recommend any medications or after care procedures. We will schedule with you follow-up appointments at successive intervals, as necessary. After you have recovered from surgery and are fully healed, you can enjoy the results of your plastic surgery.  Patients experience increased self-confidence after surgery because of their improved body image and self-esteem.

Financing

Dr. Lent has a variety of financing options available.  Lending banks and associations are available to help finance your surgery, if needed. Credit card payment is also accepted. If applicable, your insurance company will be billed.  Any remaining unpaid balance is your responsibility. Bring your insurance papers with you.
